The Super Hero Party

We had a Super Hero themed Birthday party for a 4 year old yesterday. What a blast it was!

After knowing who would be attending the party, we custom made superhero costumes for all the guests. The kids couldn’t wait for the party day to arrive.

We had planned a Super Hero Training Program for the kids. To qualify as Super Heroes they had to do the following:

Test 1- Laser Vision
We had the kids blindfolded. They were given Batman Logos, which they had to stick on Batman’s chest. Simple game to get the kids started.

Test 2- Breaking Down Walls
We had created a wall out of hollow boxes and painted them to look like a brick wall. The kids absolutely loved boxing the wall down.

Test 3: Super Strength
We had made a barbell out of recycled materials. Oh what a hit that was. The kids loved posing with it.

Test 4: Flying over Gotham City
We had created a prop with recycled boxes to look like tall buildings. The kids had to jump over Gotham city and then go through a hula hoop. It was great fun too.

Test 5: Precision Test
Throw the ball through the hole in the wall.

The Superheros totally enjoyed their training and where just about rejoicing when we had 2 Villains ( 2 older kids who volunteered) plotting to steal the cake…. the superheroes must come together to save the cake, by capturing the villains. They ran around with all their training under their belt and captured the Villains on time. They even tied them up on the chairs (with toilet rolls ;))

Now they can cut the cake and enjoy the meal.

Here are some other props we had at the party:
